The short version
This website collects as little as possible. The KeepFaces app itself recognizes faces on your own computer and never sends your photos to us.
What the waitlist stores
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the language you chose, the time you signed up, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that helps us block abuse. We can't turn the hashed IP back into your address.
Why we store it
Only to send you one email when KeepFaces launches. We never sell or share your email, and we don't send newsletters.
How long we keep it
Until the launch email has gone out, plus 30 days. After that we delete it, unless you buy KeepFaces.
Who hosts it
The website and the waitlist database are hosted by IONOS in the European Union. We use Cloudflare for the domain and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Once a day, a short summary of new sign-ups (email, language, time) is emailed to the site owner's inbox.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party fonts or trackers, so there's no cookie banner.
